Samuel and Pauline Joseph

**Samuel Joseph (second from the right in the front row) was an attendee of the wedding of his sister Tina (second marriage) to John Levick. Shown in the picture are:**

**Back:** Rose Levick (daughter of John Levick by previous marriage), Veronica Joseph and husband Rudolph (possibly brother of Tina and Sam), Alfred Leistiko (15 years old), Mr. John Levick (2nd husband of Tina), Christina “Tina” (Joseph) (Leistiko) Levick, Alfred Joseph (cousin of Tina from Canada), Augusta (Joseph) Staffen (daughter of Sam Joseph), Lena (Joseph) Walsh of Butte (daughter of Sam Joseph), Ann Phillips (neighbor of Tina's).

**Front:** Justine and Gottlieb Joseph (parents of Alfred, 7th in back), George Louis Josef (father of Tina and Sam and perhaps Rudolph), Samuel Joseph (father of Augusta, Lena, and Elmer), Elmer Joseph (brother of Lena and Augusta), Marie Joseph (daughter of Elmer - sitting on father’s lap)

Samuel Joseph, son of George and Christine Josef was born February 2, 1866, in Toran, Germany(Poland?). George married Pauline Rozen, who was also born in Germany.

Samuel and Pauline had 4 children:

Olga Joseph	Born in 1890. Died March 10, 1981.
Augusta L. Joseph	Born around 1892/1894 in Berlin, Germany.
Elmer Joseph	Born on July 26, 1893. Died June 12, 1954.
Patricia Joseph	Born December 23, 1902, in Waldersee, Manitoba, Canada. Died October, 19, 1997 in Butte, Silver Bow, Montana, USA. Patricia married John Joseph Walsh December 26, 1922, in Anaconda, Montana. John was born about 1897 in Anaconda, Montana.
