Louis L. Moore was born on February 16, 1909.
Opal Anetta Nims, the daughter of Ernest and Camilla Nims, was born November 19, 1909 in Sumas, Washington.
Louis and his brother Johnnie Moore were picking apples in eastern Washington when they met Camilla and her sister Blanche Nims. The brothers eventually married the sisters, with Louis marrying Opal on February 16, 1929. After three children were born, Louis and Opal were divorced.
Opal later remarried to Fred Miller. Fred was a chef and Opal became a cook. Opal and Fred had no children together. Opal died in 1978 in Alaska at the age of 69.
