Lillian Joyce Umphres, the daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Ada Bernice (Johnson) Umphres , was born in September 1933 in George West, Texas.
Dean and Lillian were married in 1949 in Anchorage, Alaska.
Dean was a mechanic, and was drowned at sea in Alaska and buried at Kodiak, Alaska. Lillian was living in 1996 in Newberg, Oregon.
