Patrick and Isabelle Hall

Patrick Hall was from Donegal County, Ireland. His first wife's name was Isabelle.

According to the records of Patrick's great, great grandson, John A. Hogg, Jr., the Halls were from northern Ireland. It appears that the Hall home in Ireland was in Donegal County. It is part of family legend that at the time that William invaded Ireland, the Irish Hall estate was taken over and occupied by an English Laird, who chose to keep the Hall family on the estate where they served as tutors for the Laird’s family, the Halls being educated.

Patrick and Isabelle had the following children:

Martha "Mattie" HallBorn in 1805. Never married. Died January 3, 1880.
William HallBorn January 9, 1811. Married MinervaThompson.
Nancy HallBorn in 1813. Did not emmigrate.
John HallBorn in 1815. Married Mary Black.
Jane HallBorn in 1817. Married a McCoy.

Isabelle died in 1825, and Patrick remarried to Margaret Floyd.

Patrick and Margaret had the following children:

David HallBorn in 1826.
George HallBorn in 1828.
Samuel HallBorn in 1830.

Patrick died March 12, 1861, at 110 years of age.
