Loran and Ida Beebe

Ida Evelyn Nims, daughter of William and Fannie Nims, was born in Sumas, Washington, on August 10, 1889. In "The First School", Ida shares some memories of her early life.

Leroy L. "Loren" Beebe, son of William and Ella (Hammond) Beebe, was born about 1890 in Kansas.

Loren and Ida married October 29, 1908. Loren and Ida lived for many years on Mosquito Lake Road in Whatcom County, where Loren and his son Nathan worked in the woods. In the 1950's they moved to a place on the Mt. Baker Highway, then to Bellingham, where both Loren and Ida lived out their later lives. Ida died in February 1977 in Bellingham, at the age of 87.
