Willem Anthony "Bill" Jansen, son of Gerardes and Jacoba Jansen, was born March 16, 1906, in Holland.

Jean Margaret Hogg, daughter of John and Beatrice Hogg, was born in 1914 in Vancouver, Washington.

Bill and Jean were married in Jean's parents' home at 1004 E. 29th Street, Vancouver, Washington, on March 25, 1943 by Judge Charles W. Hall. Bill and Jean had two children:
