Nancy Beatrice Hogg, daughter of John Alexander and Frances Beatrice (Nutter) Hogg, was born in 1924 in Vancouver, Washington.
Thornton and Nancy were married in 1954 by Commander Paul Norton at the U.S. Naval Base in Bremerton, Washington, and had three children:
