John Emerson "Lad" Hogg, son of John Alexander and Frances Beatrice (Nutter) Hogg, was born in 1915, in Vancouver, Washington.

Pauline "Pollee" Sandel was born in 1922.

Lad and Pollee were married in 1944 in Manhasset, New York, and had four children:

Patsy Carol Hogg	Born in 1946
Jeffrey Paul Hogg	Born in 1950
Christopher Jon Hogg	Born in 1955
Martha Louise Hogg	Born in 1956
